Jed’s raising money for Jakes Foundation every time he scores a goal!! It doesn’t matter how young or old you are you can help us to spread awareness of brain tumours, more children & adults UNDER 40 die of a Brain Tumour than any other cancer!! Thanks for helping Jed
It has been a devastating year for all of Jakes family & friends & much of it has passed in a blur, we cannot begin to tell you how much we miss our beautiful Jake.
Jakes foundation began a year ago & SO many people have done so many amazing things to raise money in our bid to raise awareness of brain tumours & make everyone aware that all headaches are not always migraines!!
We have had so much support from everyone to fight our cause, we know that Jake would have been proud to know that so many people care & for that we are truly grateful. There have been cycling, running, a Santa run, walks, cake baking, raffles, ribbon sales, collection tins & lots more activities & donations from people near & far. We are overwhelmed & moved by everyone who have continued to support our plight, with your help we hope we can make a difference to fight this horrible cancer.
There must be an extra special thank you for all the monies raised by the Woodies,(The Woodmans Stroke) they have had collection tins all year & organised cake sales after the Rothley 10km, Xmas raffle, which on its own raised almost £2500, the proceeds from the blackjack table at New Year was even dedicated to the Foundation, the whole staff have been wonderful & showed how much they cared about Jake.
The total raised this year is an astounding £75000 and still growing & we couldn’t have done it without the help of all of you AMAZING people, we hope you can continue to support Jakes Foundation in 2014 & give hope to many more people suffering from brain tumours, as the loss of someone so young & full of life is absolutely devastating. How can we ever forget that beautiful smile ! Thanks & love to you all.
Great raffle prizes to be won in The Woodies raffle, thanks to the girls for organising it and to Simon & T-Bone for their continued support and to all those who have supported Jakes Foundation. Remember the prize draw is on 22nd December so buy your tickets soon to help us raise awareness of brain tumours in memory of our beautiful Jake.

On Sunday 20th October Heather Stapleton ran the San Francisco half marathon….. 13miles of hills but a lovely view of Alcatraz!! Heather raised over £1100 for Jakes Foundation, I cannot say how touched we are that so many wonderful people are willing to give up their time & money to help us raise awareness of Brain Tumours, of course I know that it was our beautiful Jake who touched the hearts of all these people & continues to do so, who can ever forget that smile. I want to thank everyone for their support we are truly grateful.
Well done x
